The 2014 NW Regional Women in Computing Conference (NWrWIC) is focused on empowering and encouraging women to pursue STEM careers, particularly in Computer Science and Engineering. The conference brings together students from universities and high schools with industry leaders to engage and inspire the next generation of women to play a leading role in shaping the future of technology. The FREE event will be held at Jesuit High School in Portland on April 26, 9AM to 9PM. Spread the word to all high school students of all skill levels! Only interest and creativity are required; a team of world-class mentors will help with the rest. Students will get to meet mentors from a variety of innovative companies, as well as talk to entrepreneurs involved in the start-up scene.
