The Center for Gender Equity’s Girls Engineering Camp will provide girls, ages 8 to 12, an opportunity to learn some basics of engineering.

The girls will work with the staff of CGE and ChickTech, a Portland-based organization that offers hands-on workshops, mentoring and community encouragement to help young women build confidence and recognize and celebrate their individual potential. Participants will explore soft circuits and robotics. Each day the girls will be involved in a variety of projects with take-home results.

Monday through Friday, June 20- 24, 2016
Daily: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Marsh Hall Lobby, Pacific University, Forest Grove, Oregon
Cost:  $120.  Lunch is included
