Mosaics in Science Internship Program

Science-based careers in the National Park Service have been generally under-represented when it comes to racial and ethnic diversity. The Mosaics in Science Diversity Internship Program provides youth with backgrounds in the sciences, technology, and engineering with an opportunity to work with the National Park Service. The internship seeks college undergrads and graduate students; individuals from demographic groups under-represented in the NPS workforce are especially encouraged to apply.

The Mosaics in Science Diversity Internship Program provides youth with backgrounds in the sciences, technology, and engineering with an opportunity to work with the National Park Service. The internship seeks college undergrads and graduate students; individuals from demographic groups under-represented in the NPS workforce are especially encouraged to apply.
Interns are paid a $4,800 stipend, all travel costs, and are provided housing (or a housing allowance) for the duration of the project.

Eligibility Requirements

+ 18 to 35 years old
+ U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident (green card holder)
+ Have a strong interest or relevant experience in areas pertaining to natural resource science, technology, or engineering
