Summer Science and Math Institute

Oregon State University and Oregon Department of Education invite you to the Summer Science and Math Institute.  The Institute will help teachers develop instructional practices that motivate and engage every student in math and science.  During the four-day institute middle school and high school teachers will have time to collaborate, network, and learn about high leverage teaching practices as well as  math and science content that include:

  • Modeling in science and math
  • Promoting student discourse and argumentation
  • Equitable teaching and learning
  • Enhancing scientific and mathematical knowledge for teaching

Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon

Cost

No registration fee.

Participants are responsible for travel and lodging.  There may be low-cost housing available on the OSU campus.
